We are truly pleased to communicate that on 29 May 2014, Mr. Staffan Herrström, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in Poland, visited "Invest-Park" Investment Park in Białogard.
Mr. Ambassador visited the companies operating at the Technology Incubator in Białogard. At the moment, there are 8 businesses operating at the Technology Incubator (8,000 sqm). They employ a total of ca. 400 persons. Then he met in the Incubator's conference room with representatives of Swedish companies located in the the Szczecin, Koszalin and Słupsk regions.
With the Ambassador's arrival in Białogard, we were able to present the Technology Incubator and the "Invest-Park" Białogard project, particularly dedicated to Scandinavian entrepreneurs intending to open or develop their production in Poland.
'I would like to thank the local government and the companies we visited today, namely Elfa Manufacturing, MPS International, and Above Meble. This is my first visit in Białogard and in Koszalin. I am happy to have been able to find out about the highly positive experience of Swedish companies that decided to invest in your region. It was very interesting to see and learn about the Technology Incubator in Białogard which, through its existence, offers new growth opportunities to other companies', said Ambassador Staffan Herrström.
The Ambassador was accompanied by Mr. Daniel Larsson, Commerce Counsel of the Swedish Embassy in Poland.
'Each of the companies we visited today is very satisfied with investing in this area. Businesses say how easy it is for them to run their business here. The proposal of "Invest-Park", with the option of support for enterprises with Scandinavian capital who intend to start or develop existing businesses in Poland, is among the first ones we present to entrepreneurs at the Embassy', said Mr. Daniel Larsson.
During the second half of the day, the Ambassador met with the owners, officers and managers of companies from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, all members of the "Scandinavian Business Club". This meeting of the "Scandinavian Business Club" was held at the Rymań Palace, in Swedish ownership.
